The CEIPI is pleased to annouce that the methodology courses preparing for the EQE 2023 will be organized as classroom training and also be available online.
These introductory methodology courses are intended principally - but not exclusively - for candidates who have taken CEIPI's European patent law training course.
In these courses an introduction is given to the methodologies for solving papers A (drafting of claims and an introduction), B (preparing a reply to an official letter), C (opposition) and D (legal questions) respectively. Moreover, the examination requirements are explained and a review of important topics is given.
The courses aim to set the candidates as early as possible "on the right track" for preparing for the EQE (main examination) 2023 and bringing them to the required level for the CEIPI preparatory seminars to be held in November 2022 and January 2023.
The methodology courses are organized on-site in Paris and also as online courses. They take place, for English-, French- and German-speaking candidates at the following dates:
- AB: 16 September 2022
- C: 17 September 2022
- D: 14 (afternoon) and 15 September 2022
The CEIPI recommends to attend, as far as possible, the on-site training as this has proved to prepare candidates very efficiently for the examination.
Applications to CEIPI will be treated on a first come, first served basis. If the courses are oversubscribed, names will be put on a waiting list.
The deadline for enrolment is 12 August 2022.
