Artificial Intelligence & Contracts - A Hands-On Workshop NEW

Presentation

The development of AI applications presents unique legal challenges, particularly in the areas of intellectual property and contracts. IP lawyers and practitioners must grasp the practical constraints associated with the development of AI products and services, as well as the contractual obligations necessary to protect their clients’ interests effectively.

This workshop is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and real-world application by combining teaching sessions with hands-on exercises. Participants will gain comprehensive insights and practical skills to tackle the complexities of AI contracts confidently.

The workshop will follow the lifecycle of an AI project through a series of individual sessions, covering critical stages of an AI application development such as data collection, model training, partnerships, and deployment. It will culminate in a final series of negotiation exercises. Each session will feature presentations by instructors, contractual drafting tasks, and thorough reviews with feedback from experienced professionals.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be prepared to handle the multiple legal and contractual issues inherent in AI development and deployment.
