Stéphanie Carre

Stéphanie Carre, Associate Professor at CEIPI, entitled to supervise research, Deputy Director of the CEIPI Research Laboratory, Director of the Master 2 DEIPI (European and International Intellectual Property Law), in charge of continuing education at CEIPI.

After studying law at the University of Caen and then in Bristol (England), she joined the research team on the law of immaterial creations (ERCIM) at the University of Montpellier as a lecturer and then as an ATER, where she defended her thesis, directed by Michel Vivant and devoted to the public interest in copyright law.

She was recruited by CEIPI in 2005 to develop training courses in copyright law. She teaches mainly literary and artistic property and her research is especially devoted to the European law aspects of this discipline. She is a regular lecturer and expert at WIPO in foreign universities and administrations and regularly participates in national and international conferences. Her research, mainly dedicated to the European law of literary and artistic property, is the subject of publications
