Diogo Costa Cunha, Ph.D. in private law and criminal sciences, is the author of a thesis entitled Valorisation de l'innovation en santé, Proposition pour une refonte juridique (Valuing innovation in healthcare: a proposal for a legal overhaul), written at the Université Toulouse Capitole, where he was an ATER with the Centre de Droit des Affaires (Business Law Center) and especially with the Toulouse Intellectual Property Team.
Specializing in intellectual property law, he also conducts research in business contract law and new technologies, company and group law, and artificial intelligence law. More broadly, his work links business law and innovation.
Qualified as Associate Professor and recruited to CEIPI in 2023, he is developing his research in intellectual property and innovation law. Diogo also teaches business, contract and industrial property law.
