The CEIPI at the EIPIN Congress "Imitation as Innovation" at the European Patent Office in Munich

The CEIPI will participate within the EIPINNetwork to the congress "Imitation as Innovation" to be held at the European Patent Office in Munich between February 3 and 5.

On February 3, Christophe Geiger, Director General of the CEIPI will chair the session on the topic "A Comparative Look at the Treatment of Imitation across IP" and on February 5, Dieter Stauder, former Director of the CEIPI International Section and member of the CEIPI Research Department, will chair the session on the topic "Imitation and Innovation in Patent Law in the Context of International Trade".

Within the framework of the EIPIN Doctoral Meeting to be held before the congress on February 02, Théodoros Chiou and Asako Wechs Hatenaka, both doctoral candidates at the CEIPI, will do presentations on the topics "Towards a European law of exploitation contracts of IP rights?: Essay on the (re)construction of the actual legal framework based on a French-Greek perspective" and "Mediation and Non Adjudicatory Dispute Resolution Mechanism in Intellectual Property Law".
