CEIPI and the Center for Advanced Study & Research on Intellectual Property (CASRIP) wanted to formalise their long-standing collaboration through the signature of a cooperation agreement enabling the future exchange of researchers, students, and the creation of combined programmes, the development of research projects as well as the joint organisation of conferences.
Mr. Christophe Geiger, Director General of CEIPI, during his visit to Seattle in May 2014, signed this agreement with Prof. Toshiko Takenaka, Director of CASRIP, at a ceremony organised by Prof. Kellye Y. Testy, Dean of the School of Law at the University of Washington.
In the framework of this cooperation agreement, the Paris Congress on Industrial Property on the topic “The legal framework for Employee’s inventions: Asia – USA – Europe”, organized by the FNDE, in collaboration with CEIPI and CASRIP, will be held on September 19th, 2014 in Paris.
