Opening of the Second Edition of the Training Program for Technically Qualified Judges of the Unified Patent Court 2016, CEIPI, Strasbourg

On 22 September 2016 will take place the opening of the second edition of the training program for technically qualified judges of the Unified Patent Court. This second edition, held in partnership with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), will take place at CEIPI, in Strasbourg, from 22 to 24 September and from 20 to 22 October 2016.

The creation of the Unified Patent Court represents a turning point in the history of European intellectual property law. The judges of the Unified Patent Court will be central actors for the success of the Unified Patent Court and the entire patent package.

The Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies, in collaboration with INPI, puts its experience in training public servants, longstanding academic tradition and partnership with key international intellectual property organizations at the service of a training program intended to meet the needs of a crucial collective such as the judiciary, more particularly, technically qualified judges.
