Within the framework of the “Institutional, political and social perspectives on intellectual property” series of lectures, CEIPI is pleased to welcome on Wednesday, October 21st, 2015, 5:30 pm(amphi 23) Ms. Maria Martin-Prat, Head of the Copyright Unit in the European Commission Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT). Her public lecture will focus on the topic “Copyright reform at EU level: challenges and perspectives”.

The conference will address the context of copyright policy making today, the current EU acquis (both in terms of legislation and case law of the CJEU) as the necessary starting point for the review of copyright rules in Europe, the political guidelines and priorities of this Commission and the possible way forward. The debate will be animated by Mr. Christophe Geiger, Director General of CEIPI.
