CEIPI is pleased to announce the distinguished lecture of Professor Frederick Abbott, Edward Ball Eminent Scholar Professor of International Law at Florida State University College of Law, and Pedro Roffe, External Senior Advisor of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), on the topic “Technology Transfer and Development”.
Their lecture will address the relationship between these two central public policy objectives. Open to the academic community of the University of Strasbourg, and in particular to CEIPI and BETA researchers, the lecture of Professor Frederick Abbott and Pedro Roffe will also end two weeks of lectures in the context of the CEIPI/WIPO/INPI Advanced Training Course on Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer and Licensing.
The lecture will take place on Friday 21 June 2019, (09h00-11h00), Amphitheater 23 of the Escarpe building (ground floor) and will be animated by Xavier Seuba, Associate Professor, Academic Coordinator and Scientific Responsible at CEIPI.
