Strasbourg, Signature of a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Law of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia

A cooperation agreement was signed between CEIPI and the Faculty of Law of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia, on 19 June 2019, in Strasbourg, in the presence of Professor Christophe Geiger, Director General and Director of the Research Department of CEIPI and Professor Natalie Stoianoff, Professor of Law, Director of the Intellectual Property Program, Faculty of Law, University of Technology, Sydney.

Since its creation, CEIPI has shown a great will for openness to international relations, particularly through cooperation agreements concluded with the main European and international intellectual property organizations, as well as a large number of academic and research centers in Europe and around the world.

In this context, the development of partnerships with Australia (and generally Oceania) is an integral part of its strategy of international relations. For several years, CEIPI is maintaining excellent cooperation relationships with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), therefore the two institutions resolved to institutionalize these relations through the signing of a cooperation agreement in order to be able to implement in particular joint research projects.

On this occasion, Professor Natalie Stoianoff, who is visiting researcher at CEIPI as well, participated in several training programs at CEIPI.
