Cour européenne des droits de l'homme de Strasbourg et Maison Interuniversitaire des Sciences de l'Homme - Alsace (MISHA)
Du 5 au 7 avril 2013, le CEIPI a organisé et accueilli le colloque du Réseau EIPIN (European Intellectual Property Institutes Network) sur le thème : "Droits de l’Homme et Propriété Intellectuelle : des Concepts à la Pratique".
Pour commémorer le 60e anniversaire de l'entrée en vigueur de la Convention européenne des droits de l'homme, ce congrès intitulé "Droits de l'homme et propriété intellectuelle : des concepts à la pratique", a tenté de faire le bilan des relations émergentes, souvent complexes, entre deux domaines du droit, désormais fortement enracinés dans les droits européens et internationaux. Cette conférence s'est tenu sous la direction scientifiquede Christophe Geiger, Directeur général et Directeur du Laboratoire de Recherche du CEIPI.
Ce colloque a exploré les influences, à la fois pratiques et doctrinales, des droits de l’homme sur la législation et la jurisprudence en matière de droit de la propriété intellectuelle. Il s’est intéressé en particulier au rôle des droits de l’homme dans le développement d’un cadre juridique équilibré de la propriété intellectuelle, a examiné les pratiques des tribunaux européens et des organes judiciaires ou assimilés et s’est interrogé sur la portée juridique de différents droits de l’homme dans l’exercice des droits de la propriété intellectuelle. Cette importante manifestation a été animée par une série d’experts dans les domaines de la propriété intellectuelle et des droits de l’homme ainsi que par des praticiens de renommée internationale.
