It is with great sadness that CEIPI recently learned of the passing of Jacques Azéma, Professor Emeritus of the University Jean Moulin, Lyon III, Honorary Director of the Centre Paul Roubier.
Professor Azéma was an emblematic lawyer and academic. He had a profound impact on the world of intellectual property both in France and abroad.
Mr Azéma taught for a long time at CEIPI, in particular giving seminars on competition law and trademark law. Many generations of students have benefited from his teachings.
CEIPI pays tribute to Professor Jacques Azéma and expresses its deepest condolences to his family.
