The CEIPI will participate to theInternational Summer Seminar organized by the Centre d'Etudes et de Recherche en Droit de l'Immatériel (CERDI) to be held at the Jean Monnet Faculty of Law in Sceaux between July 09 and 13, 2012 on the topic: "Copyright in motion".
On July 13, Christophe Geiger, Director General of the CEIPI, will chair the session "Freedom of speech and copyright: parody, (short) quotation…" and he will give the keywork speech of the session.
On July 10, Franck Macrez, Associate Professor at the CEIPI, will take part to the session "Software and software-related works: multimedia works, functionalities, interoperability, graphic interfaces, programing languages". He will speak on the topics "ECJ case law" and "Computer program functionality".
And on the same day, Oleksandr Bulayenko, Research Assistant at the CEIPI, will take part to the session"Dealing with orphan works and out of commerce works: exception, licence, extended collective licensing…".
