Mr Emmanuel Gougé appointed Director of the University Diploma in Patent Litigation in Europe

The Center for International Intellectual Property Studies is pleased to announce that Emmanuel Gougé, Lawyer at the Paris Bar & Solicitor of England and Wales, Partner at Pinsent Masons, has been appointed Director of the University Diploma on Patent Litigation in Europe.

A lawyer specialising in intellectual property law as well as information and telecommunications law, Maître Gougé's experience covers both contentious and transactional aspects. He has been involved in a number of multi-jurisdictional cases, including patent and know-how disputes in the electronics, pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. He has also been involved in technology transfer and licensing agreements. Mr. Gougé was President of the Licensing Executive Society (L.E.S. France) from 2011 to 2015 and currently heads the European Committee of LES International.

Mr. Gougé has been teaching at CEIPI for several years, in particular in the framework of the Diploma that he will soon co-direct with Mr. Franck Macrez, Associate Professor at CEIPI. The CEIPI team warmly welcomes him and wishes him great success in his new functions.
