CEIPI is pleased to announce the inauguration of the first Sino-European Institute for Intellectual Property, to whom CEIPI is one of the main partners, which took place on 20 March 2018, at the School of Management of the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, in the presence of Professor Christophe Geiger, Director General of CEIPI, and Professor Xiang Yu, Director of the Sino-European Institute for Intellectual Property.
On this occasion, Prof. Geiger and Yu have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of this new institute, whose purpose is to expand and deepen the collaboration in training and research in IP, as well as promoting technology transfer between China and European countries.
During this visit, Prof. Geiger gave several lectures and was named Visiting Guest Professor from 2018-2021 at the Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST), Wuhan.
