The CEIPI would like to congratulate Mr. Michel Deneken on his recent re-election as President of the University of Strasbourg and wishes him every success in his second term of office 2021-2025.
"The Board of Directors met on Friday 19 March 2021 to elect the President of the University of Strasbourg. Michel Deneken was re-elected for a second term on behalf of the "Faire ensemble l'université" lists (30 votes in favour, 3 abstentions and 3 blank). He had been President of the University of Strasbourg since December 2016, after having been 1st Vice-President since the merger of the university in January 2009. The president's term of office has been marked by a culture of dialogue and participation. This process follows a first participatory project Cap2030. He will present his new team of vice-presidents at the Congress on Tuesday 30 March.
