Conference “Genetically modified animal” organized by the CDPF in collaboration with CEIPI

The Centre for fundamental private law (CDPF – Centre de droit privé fondamental) organizes, in collaboration with CEIPI, on September 18, 2014 a conference on the topic “The genetically modified animal: a patentable invention”. The CDPF conducts research on animals within the research project “animal and humanity” at the initiative of Silabe (Simian Laboratory Europe) and the Centre for Primatology. This conference is aimed at lawyers and scientists who are interested in these issues.

Mr. Jean-Baptiste Varoqueaux, doctoral student at CEIPI, will speak on the topic “The intellectual appropriation of the chimera and genetic programming”.
