As part of the conference cycle “The Intellectual Property Ecosystem”, the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) is pleased to organise, in collaboration with the French National Association of Industrial Property Attorneys (CNCPI), a conference entitled “Industrial Property Attorneys: Current Challenges and Future Ambitions”.

This conference will take place on 15 April 2021 from 6.30 pm to 8 pm (CET) online via ZOOM.

Speakers:

  • Jean-Christophe Rolland - President of the CNCPI
  • Gaëlle Loinger-Benamran - Co-Chair of the Commission on the Future of the Profession of the CNCPI

The conference will be held in French and will be moderated by Yann Basire, Associate Professor at the University of Strasbourg, Director of the French Section and Director General of CEIPI.

The following issues will be addressed:

  • Regulation as a strength of the Industrial Property Attorney profession towards the future.
  • Regulated does not mean fixed: the IP attorney constantly interacts with his environment and adapts to it.
  • What are the ambitions for tomorrow? Which skills to develop: legal, technical, human...?

To find out, join us at the seminar. Your contribution to the reflection is most welcome : a special time will be devoted to discussion between the audience and the speakers.

Registration is free but compulsory by clicking on this link.
