Christophe GEIGER reelected Director General and Director of the Research Department of the CEIPI

At its last meeting held at the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva on December 14, 2012, the Administrative Board of the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) reelected Christophe GEIGER as Director General of the CEIPI and of its Research Department.

At the board meeting Christophe GEIGER presented a review of his term in office and of the strategic project of the CEIPI in the areas of training and research, elaborating on three endeavors: to consolidate, adapt and develop the achievements of the CEIPI, to enhance the reach of the CEIPI and to develop its research activities.

Christophe GEIGER was reelected unanimously by the Administrative Council of the CEIPI for a second term as Director General, effective September 1, 2013, and as Director of the Research Department, effective January 1, 2013.

The Council warmly congratulated Christophe GEIGER for his efforts in developing the European and international reputation of the CEIPI. It also welcomed the excellent results of the CEIPI and particularly approved the synergy between the general management and research that underpins the two fundamental objectives of the CEIPI, namely teaching and research in the field of intellectual property.
