On 11 October 2017, the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organization has elected António Campinos as President of the European Patent Office (EPO). Mr. Campinos, who is currently Executive Director of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and also President of the Administrative Board of CEIPI, will start his term on 1 July 2018.
CEIPI warmly congratulates Mr. Campinos and addresses its wishes of success for his new functions.
