Opening of the sixth edition of the relocated study program CEIPI / University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Macedonia

The opening lecture for the 2015-16 academic year of the CEIPI relocated study program on IP Law offered in cooperation with Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (Macedonia), and in partnership with the EIPIN members, will take place on 10th November 2015, in the premises of the Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law in Skopje.

Gerard (Ged) Owens, Coordinator for Public Policy Issues at the European Patent Office (EPO), will give an opening lecture on the topic “Developing New Economic Sectors by Promoting Use of Intellectual Property”.

This innovative initiative offers a high-level programme in the Balkan region of Europe focusing mainly on international and European perspectives on IP Law (European patent law, trademarks, copyright, neighbouring rights and other related disciplines). Classes are taught by teachers from CEIPI and its partners from EIPIN network, Law Faculty of Skopje and neighbouring countries (Greece, Bulgaria and Serbia).
