The opening ceremony for the academic year 2012-2013 of the Double Degree Programme in Intellectual Property Law offered by the The Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia, and the CEIPI, in partnership with the members of the EIPIN network, will take place on November 8, 2012 at 5.00 pm at the premises of the "Iustinianus Primus" Faculty of Law, SS.Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, Macedonia.
Annette Kur, Professor at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property and Competition Law in Munich, will give an inaugural lecture on the topic "Time of crisis, time of chance for IP?"
This innovative initiative includes a program in Skopje that concentrates mainly on the international and European aspects of intellectual property (industrial property, copyright, related rights and other affiliated disciplines), and is taught by academic staff from the CEIPI, from its partners of the EIPIN network and from the faculty in Skopje and from neighbouring countries (Greece, Bulgaria and Serbia).
