The opening ceremony for the academic year 2011-2012 of the Double Degree Programme in Intellectual Property Law offered by the The Ss. Cyril et Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia, and the CEIPI, will take place on December 02, 2011 at 17.30 at the premises of the "Iustinianus Primus" Faculty of Law, SS.Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, Macedonia.
Manuel Desantes Real, Professor at the University of Alicante, will give an inaugural lecture on the topic "Protected innovations as a tool for entrepreneurship and economic development".
This innovative initiative includes a program in Skopje that concentrates mainly on the international and European aspects of intellectual property (industrial property, copyright, related rights and other affiliated disciplines), and is taught by academic staff from the CEIPI, from its partners of the EIPIN network and from the faculty in Skopje and from neighbouring countries (Greece, Bulgaria and Serbia).
