Target audience
Professionals working in the field of intellectual property, or those looking to move into the field.
Prerequisites
This course is open to professionals who have completed an M1 in law or political science or who have legal experience.
An excellent level of English (written, read and spoken) is required, as well as a good command of digital communication tools, particularly the zoom platform. An initial introduction to intellectual property law would be an advantage.
Admission requirements
Admission to this programme is by application. An individual interview may also be required if necessary.
Course objectives & Brochure
The ‘Applied Intellectual Property Law’ course is offered as continuing education and is aimed at professionals who wish to enhance their professional experience in the field of intellectual property, diversify their activities in this area or focus their career on this field. The aim is also to provide company directors with skills in all areas of intellectual property that their previous studies have not provided them with.
The primary objective of the course is to enable participants to acquire and master high-level skills in this branch of law.
The aim is that, by the end of their training, they will have acquired the following skills in particular:
- Analyse complex situations, including international ones, involving intangible assets and intellectual property rights
- Identify intellectual property rights
- Defining strategies and ensuring the legal protection of intellectual creations, works, inventions, trademarks, designs and other intellectual property
- Advising on intellectual property matters
- Drawing up and negotiating agreements in the field of intellectual property, including technology transfers
- Defending intellectual property rights.
