Du 21 au 27 mars 2018, M. Christophe Geiger, Professeur à l’Université de Strasbourg et Directeur général du CEIPI, donnera une série de quatre conférences en Chine.
- Sa visite commencera à la Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST) de Wuhan où il sera nommé « Visiting guest professor » de 2018-2021. A cette occasion, il signera un protocole d’accord pour la mise en place d’un centre Sino-Européen de propriété intellectuelle duquel le CEIPI sera un des principaux partenaires et donnera deux conférences les 21 et 23 mars 2018.
- Ses interventions porteront sur :
- “Specialized vs General Courts in the field of Intellectual Property: The Relationship between the Unified Patent Court and the Court of the Justice of the European Union”,
- et “Towards a Modern Copyright Law for the Digital Single Market? Assessing the current reform project in the European Union and its Main Challenges”.
- Le 26 mars, le Prof. Geiger fera une présentation à l’Université de Huangshi : Hubei Normal University (HBNU). Son intervention portera sur le thème “Rediscovering the Social Function of Intellectual Property Rights - A European Perspective”.
- Le 27 mars, le Prof. Geiger fera une présentation à l’Université de Beijing : Beijing Normal University. Son intervention portera sur le thème “ Reconciling Copyright with Creators and Future creativity”.
