Final EIPIN IS conference “Vision(s) for Intellectual Property in Europe: The Role of Research”, online

The Research Department of the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) of the University of Strasbourg is pleased to invite you to participate to the final conference of the EIPIN Innovation Society (EIPIN IS) concluding the European Joint Doctorate (EJD) project entitled “Vision(s) for Intellectual Property in Europe: The Role of Research”, to take place online on Zoom platform, on 31 May and 1 June 2021.

The goal of this conference under the scientific direction of Christophe Geiger, Professor at the University of Strasbourg and Oleksandr Bulayenko, Education and Scientific Coordinator / Postdoctoral Researcher at CEIPI is to reflect on the role of IP research and its different methodologies to shape IP policy in Europe and globally, as well as to expose the scientific results of the various PhD projects conducted in the framework of the EIPIN IS project. Each parts of the conference will be open by a keynote delivered by a renowned scholar: Stefan Bechtold, ETH Zürich; Irene Calboli, Texas A&M University School of Law; Barton Beebe and Jeanne Fromer, NYU; and Maurizio Borghi, University of Bournemouth, the first day being closed by a keynote speech delivered by Peter Yu, Texas A&M University School of Law.

This conference, takes place within the framework of the European research project EIPIN Innovation Society (EIPIN IS), where CEIPI is one of the five university partners. This project was funded by the European Commission under the Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Actions, European Joint Doctorates (EJD) and aimed to examine the role of intellectual property in innovation in Europe.
