Research support

CEIPI has its own research department, EA 4375. Research is organized around the traditional areas of intellectual property: patent law, plant variety law, trademark and distinctive sign law, copyright and related rights, design law, intellectual property contract law, competition law and intellectual property litigation. These areas of research correspond to all of CEIPI's areas of training.

The research department is also one of the eight research units that make up the "Changing Europe" research federation (Fédération de recherche "L'Europe en mutation" n°6705).
Partnerships have been forged with the European Patent Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office, the World Intellectual Property Organization and the National Institute of Industrial Property.
