  • Doctoral researcher in the framework of the EIPIN Innovation Society doctoral programme, ITN / EJD Marie Skłodowska-Curie project

CEIPI is glad to announce that the Research Department of CEIPI obtained funding of the EU Horizon 2020 programme for creation of the European Joint Doctorate programme titled “European Intellectual Property Institutes Network - Innovation Society (EIPIN IS)”. This project, in partnership with the members of the EIPIN network, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) and 15 nonacademic partners, under coordination of the University of Maastricht, was officially launched on 1st March 2017.

In the framework of this project, members of the consortium hire 15 early-stage researchers / doctoral candidates (3 at CEIPI) wishing to undertake their research on the role of intellectual property law and innovation. Upon completion of their doctoral theses, early-stage researchers will receive joint or double diplomas of two out of five universities participating in the programme.

The procedure for recruitment of an early-stage researcher / doctoral candidate to carry out his research within the general theme “Creativity and Access: Adaptation of Copyright to the Digital Economy” was extended until 22 June 2017, 23:59 CET.

  • Doctoral researcher (Unified Patent Court)

Within the framework of a partnership between CEIPI and INPI, we are looking for a legal scholar with a Master’s degree or an LLM in intellectual property who wishes to pursue doctoral studies in intellectual property and write a thesis (in French) on the European patent with unitary effect and the European Patent Court.

 CEIPI is recruiting a lawyer with a Master 2 or LLM degree intending to engage in the research activities of the Centre. The position may offer the possibility to enroll for a PhD.
